• Can we play from different locations?

  Yes, you can all use your access code and log in from your own location!

• Do we have to book a special time slot?

  No, you can buy the access code and play at any time you like. That can be right away or even a few days later.

• What is an escaperoom?

  The definition in Wikipedia of the term ‘Escaperoom’ is: An escaperoom, also known as an escape game, is a game in which a team of players cooperatively discover clues, solve puzzles, and accomplish tasks in one or more rooms in order to progress and accomplish a specific goal in a limited amount of time. The goal is often to escape from the site of the game, usually within an hour.

  An online escaperoom versus a physical escaperoom

  It is common to be locked up in a room in which you have to solve different puzzles and riddles to escape. The fun part of this is when you start, you haven't got a clue what to do with them. Everything that is present in that room can be part of a puzzle or riddle, but it can also be there purely for decoration purposes. Usually escaperooms where you have to get out from consists of multiple rooms. You sometimes only get access to other rooms after solving the puzzles in the prior room. There are also versions where you don't have to escape, but where you need to break into a room. Most escaperooms have a theme and this theme is implemented in every aspect and step you have to take to solve the escaperoom. Examples of popular themes are detective, horror or crime.

  What remains the same?

  As mentioned above, an escaperoom is an activity at a physical location and this is usually played with a group of people. Playing with multiple people in a small area is difficult during the current times with the coronavirus. That is why we choose to create an escape room online where you don't have to be physically present, but where you can still play with multiple people at once. This version you can play from your own computer, in your own home. Making for a truly safe way to play an escape room.

• How does it work?
  • Use your mouse and search for clickable elements. Users with a tablet can click everywhere to find these elements, but a laptop is recommended.
  • Keep pen and paper ready, but printing of the puzzles is not needed, you can do everything interactively inside the website itself (with a little detour to Google Maps...).
  • Write the answers down, or remember them! The puzzles within the casino all give a digit as a solution.
  • You can walk around freely through the rooms once you have entered the casino. There is no pre-determined order in which you have to solve the puzzles.
  • The escaperoom will take about an hour to finish, but won't stop if you go over the one hour mark.
  • You can continue to play the escaperoom at a later time, you do not have to solve all the puzzles in one sitting.
  • Keep the puzzles a secret in order for others to have as much fun as possible with playing the escaperoom.
• How does it work for companies and groups?

  As organizer you create the teams that want to play. Please note: the organizer will not get an access code, make sure you put yourself in one of the teams.

  After payment the organizer will get a special page available in the website. On this page the organizer can see what teams have started and have escaped. It is also possible to set a time penalty on the usage of hints.

  The codes can be distributed among the teams. Those teams can use this code on the "Start game" page on the website.

• How can I obtain an access code?

  Go to Buy code and buy your codes for one or multiple teams.

• Is it possible to pay per invoice?

  Yes, for companies it is possible to pay per invoice. Please use our contact form and get in touch with us.

• I have already payed, is it possible to get an invoice afterwards?

  Yes, please use our contact form and get in touch with us. Make sure to mention your address details that need to go on the invoice and with what emailaddress you created the teams.

• I have some special requests, is customization available?

  For large groups customization is sometimes requested. Please use our contact form and get in touch with us and let us discuss the options.

• With how many players can we play this escaperoom?

  We advise to have teams with a maximum of 4 persons each. But the number of teams that you want to play with is infinite! So our escaperoom is also well suited for large groups with hundreds of people.

• What do I need to play this game?

  You need a computer with a browser, pen and paper and some puzzle skills! You can play this game on a tablet, but the use of a computer provides the best experience. One puzzle requires a small sidestep to Google Maps. The other puzzles will keep you inside the casino.

• What should I do when I get stuck with a puzzle?

  Each puzzle has some optional hints hidden closeby. They will make sure you will never get stuck for long!

• We did not manage to escape after 60 minutes of playing. Now what?

  Not a problem! Please continue playing at your own leisure, there is no time limit on the escaperoom.

• Is it possible to pause the game halfway?

  Yes, you can come back to the website and log in using the same access code. That will bring you back to the room that you last visited and allows you to continue where you've left off.

• Will there be more escaperooms?

  We are currently busy with a second escaperoom, stay tuned...

• Where can I find the solutions for the puzzles?

  There are no solutions in the escaperoom, but with each puzzle there are hidden hints that will help you forward, making sure you will never get truly stuck.
